DirtyVine isn’t your typical wine destination. It’s a refreshing take on what wine should be — simple, fresh, and honest. Free from chemicals and preservatives, DirtyVine celebrates the pure joy of wine straight from the vine. It’s part wine club, part bottle shop, and entirely a tribute to beverages that both reflect and respect the planet.
When Goodside took on the DirtyVine project, the collaboration spanned every touchpoint of the brand experience: from strategy and identity to web design, copywriting, and packaging. Their goal was clear — to craft a brand that feels as natural and unpretentious as the wines themselves.

The creative journey began, fittingly, at the roots. Goodside developed the brand strategy around a single, sunny idea: Bottled Sunshine. This concept became the heart of DirtyVine’s visual and verbal world — one defined by vibrant colors, perfectly imperfect illustrations, and a playful, quick-witted tone. Every detail radiates warmth and joy, channeling the feeling of sharing a great bottle of wine with friends, no matter what kind of glass it’s poured into.
In a world where wine can often feel intimidating, DirtyVine stands out for its refreshingly inclusive attitude. It’s a brand that invites everyone to the table — from casual sippers to somm-level connoisseurs — and encourages them to enjoy wine without pretense or pressure.

Goodside extended this philosophy beyond the brand identity into the digital and unboxing experiences. The online shop breaks convention by organizing wines by occasion — “park days,” “dinner parties,” and “mellow afternoons” — rather than traditional varietals or regions. Each delivery includes a friendly, conversational card that describes the wines and introduces the winemakers in a way that feels personal and accessible, steering clear of insider jargon.
Behind this spirited transformation is Goodside, the brand strategy and design studio founded by Danielle LaRoy and Jessica Strelioff. The duo brings together years of experience across in-house, agency, and independent work to craft full-of-life brands through a seamless blend of visual and verbal storytelling. Their approach — deeply collaborative, highly creative, and strategically grounded — makes them a trusted partner for purpose-driven companies on the rise.
