Creative Nights Builds a Home for Nayla Arida’s Jewellery and Story
For jewellery designer Nayla Arida, the story behind her work began long before the brand took shape. Born in Beirut and exiled to France as a child, she returned to Lebanon twenty-five years later, reconnecting with its workshops and establishing a jewellery label under her own name. Creative Nights translated that personal history into a brand identity and digital experience centred on belonging, devotion and the journey home.
Although Arida’s pieces already carried the emotional significance of talismans, her existing website relied on a stock theme that offered little room to express their meaning. The studio’s task was to give that story a coherent visual language, connecting the jewellery, its presentation and the experience of discovering it.

The starting point was a drawing Arida had created years earlier: two turtle doves carrying a branch. Previously used only sparingly, the motif became the anchor of the identity. Associated with lifelong partnership and peace, the birds connected her personal journey with the intimate symbolism of her work.
That choice also shaped the e-commerce experience. Rather than opening with carats and specifications, the website introduces visitors to the branch and the story it carries. The approach places emotional connection at the beginning of the encounter, allowing the jewellery’s meaning to inform how each piece is perceived.
Photography and motion extended this narrative into distinct worlds for each collection. Split pomegranates, dried flowers and sea shells became elements of carefully composed imagery, with light shaped to bring out the character of the jewellery and its surroundings. Each collection received its own atmosphere while remaining part of a shared visual language.

Developed over nearly two years, the project encompassed brand strategy, visual identity, typography, photography and motion, packaging design and e-commerce. Creative Nights carried the strategic idea through these different touchpoints, preserving the connection between Arida’s history and the objects she creates.
The resulting brand gives her jewellery a setting that reflects its significance: pieces to be chosen, worn and kept for the feelings and associations they hold. Through the turtle doves, the collection imagery and the digital experience, Creative Nights made an existing story visible.
Founded in 2014 by Marek Suchanek, Creative Nights is a brand strategy, design and experience studio. Its work for Nayla Arida brings those disciplines together around a personal narrative, creating a commercial platform with a clear emotional foundation.
