In a city defined by vertical skylines, concrete grids, and relentless energy, Urban Jungle emerges as a bold new gardening center designed to reconnect people with nature. Opening in the heart of New York, the project positions itself as more than a retail space—it is conceived as a cultural meeting point between the organic and the urban.
At the core of Urban Jungle lies a powerful idea: nature does not stand in opposition to the city—it thrives within it. This philosophy informs every element of the brand identity, developed by interdisciplinary designer and artist Milica Mila Ristic.

Urban Jungle’s brand identity captures the tension and harmony between two worlds. Simple organic shapes echo leaves, growth, and fluidity, while structured geometric forms reference the architectural rhythm of New York’s grid system.
The result is a visual language that feels intentional and unapologetic. It mirrors the city itself—direct, confident, and dynamic—while still preserving the softness and vitality of plant life.
Rather than leaning into stereotypical “natural” aesthetics, the identity embraces contrast. Nature is not romanticized; it is empowered. The brand stands tall, structured, and vibrant, much like the city it inhabits.

Color plays a defining role in Urban Jungle’s visual system. Instead of relying solely on earthy greens and neutrals, the palette is sourced directly from New York’s urban environment.
Think bold contrasts, unexpected combinations, and saturated tones that evoke subway signage, street art, industrial materials, and the city’s layered textures. This approach reinforces the concept: nature in New York is not quiet—it is alive, electric, and woven into the city’s visual identity.
