Following the high-octane atmosphere of the HYROX Weekend in Berlin, the city witnessed a different kind of movement—one rooted in stillness, breath, and intentional restoration. Enter the RECOVERY HUB, a collaborative project hosted by ODY Motion Club in partnership with Therabody, brought to life through the art direction of Joana Grabowsky.
Designed as a sanctuary for post-competition regeneration, the RECOVERY HUB offered a holistic space where performance met mindfulness. The event invited HYROX participants and the broader fitness community to slow down and reconnect—with themselves and with others. Through guided recovery sessions, mindful movement practices, and hands-on access to Therabody’s advanced recovery tools, the experience emphasized the importance of balance in peak performance.
Driving the project was Joana Grabowsky’s creative vision. Known for her ability to distill brand essence into compelling visual narratives, Joana directed the aesthetic and emotional tone of the space with intention and clarity. The environment she helped create was bright, tactile, and grounded—designed to evoke calm in the wake of intensity. Natural light, subtle textures, and soft motion were central to the visual language, reflecting themes of resilience, recovery, and strength through serenity.
Joana’s approach merges strategic zeitgeist awareness with hands-on visual execution. As a Berlin-based art director, her practice moves fluidly between design and production, always anchored in storytelling and emotional connection. With the RECOVERY HUB, she translated the core values of both ODY Motion Club and Therabody into a living, breathing brand experience—one where athleticism met intention, and recovery became a shared ritual.
Open to new ideas, projects, and unexpected journeys—Joana welcomes freelance collaborations that challenge the ordinary.
