Coop & Cart’s New Look by YEYE Design Studio

Coop & Cart turned to YEYE Design Studio with a specific challenge: their popular café, situated in Sydney’s vibrant business district, was starting to lose its visual distinction among competitors. They needed a fresh and daring approach to redefine their brand identity and stand out in a crowded market.

YEYE Design Studio crafted an innovative solution featuring a custom typeface paired with a bold cobalt blue and white palette. At the heart of the design is the typeface’s unique ampersand, reimagined as a defining symbol of the café. This revitalized identity was seamlessly integrated into key brand elements—menus, signage, napkins, and more. YEYE not only spearheaded the design but also provided hands-on support during production, ensuring a consistent and memorable brand presence.

Founded in 2020 by Dylan Chan and Matthew Roop, YEYE is a design agency led by a husband-and-wife team, offering a wide range of graphic design services. Believing that execution alone no longer sets brands apart, YEYE prioritizes an ideas-first approach in their work. Their goal is to foster meaningful emotional connections between clients and their audiences. The name “YEYE” translates to “paternal grandpa” in Mandarin Chinese.
