Biskutt by Differ Draft Design is an artist-led collective created to spark meaningful connections between art, memory, and community. The project grows from a shared desire to build immersive experiences, guided by the central idea of “Nostalgia Reimagined.” Rather than simply revisiting the past, Biskutt reshapes childhood emotions and everyday recollections into contemporary forms, constructing a creative environment where diverse artistic languages and emotional states intersect.
Through a curated selection of original art prints and thoughtfully designed products, Biskutt encourages visitors to pause and engage more deeply with what surrounds them. Each piece acts as a trigger for remembrance—highlighting playful references from youth alongside subtle traces of disappearing urban details. The result is a layered, sensory encounter that honors memory while speaking fluently in today’s visual culture.

Visual identity is fundamental to the project’s impact. Biskutt’s aesthetic blends striking graphic elements with nostalgic color schemes and modern layouts, forming a bold yet emotionally charged design system. Drawing heavily from Indian cultural contexts, the collective infuses its name, typography, and overall language with cues from regional dialects and traditional forms, crafting a visual narrative that feels both rooted and progressive.

The initiative is driven by Differ Draft Design (DDD), a multidisciplinary, independently run studio based in New Delhi. Founded in early 2022 by Mahima Dhawan, the studio was established to produce minimal but resonant visual storytelling across brand identities, print and packaging, websites, and digital platforms. DDD’s distinctive three-draft methodology—built on exploration, refinement, and precision—ensures that every project reaches a final form that is both singular and deeply considered.
