"Sommet" is the refined creative practice led by Alba Adán and Maria Morató, known for their distinctive work in art direction, set design, and prop styling. With a visual language rooted in still life and fashion photography, Sommet brings a detailed, eclectic approach to every project—tailored, experimental, and rich in texture.
To define their own visual identity, Alba and Maria partnered with designer Jay K Darvishian through a tightly collaborative process. The result is the brand identity for Sommet—one that reflects not only who they are, but how they work.
Jay approaches design as a space between thinking and making. With a research-driven mindset and an openness to learning, his process embraces uncertainty as a way to uncover new forms. Ideas evolve through inquiry, iteration, and a refusal to be limited by traditional boundaries.
This collaboration was shaped by trust, shared vision, and a fluid exchange of perspectives. Jay’s generalist approach aligned naturally with Sommet’s multidisciplinary practice, allowing for a dialogue that moved seamlessly between concept and execution.
